NIGHT OF THE LIVING WAM
The Wait-A-Minute Film Competition.

Filmmakers have one week to make a film of one-minute-length. The film competition starts Oct. 1st 2016 and and ends on Oct. 9th 2016. Films must be turned in on or before Oct. 9th 2016  via FILMFREEWAY. All films must include special mystery element, TBA on Oct. 1st 2016 at any of the following:  Tacoma Filmmakers Website WAM contest page and The WAM Facebook page.

This contest is open to Tacoma, WA and surrounding areas.

The screening will take place at the historic Blue Mouse Theatre (2611 N Proctor St Tacoma WA), on Oct. 21st at 10pm presented by Tacoma Filmmakers and Friday Night Frights.

The 30 best films will be picked for screening (due to time contraints). All films will be featured after the event on the Tacoma Filmmakers YouTube page.

KICK OFF starts Oct. 1st at 11am, mystery element will be announced at that time. Stay tuned to the Tacoma Filmmakers Website (Contest page), and the WAM facebook page.

The five winning award categories are:
1) Best Picture - Judge’s Award
2) Best Picture - Audience Favorite
3) Best Actor Male
4) Best Actor Female
5) Best Use of the Mystery Elemen

THE SCREENING:

Please note, the Oct. 21st screening for the WAM film entries is also part of the Friday Night Frights show, a monthly showing of horror films on the third Friday at the historic Blue Mouse Theatre. In October, the Friday Night Frights picture will be John Carpenter's original 1979 "Halloween." We encourage participants to stay and watch it. Admission into the Blue Mouse for the entire event, which includes the Friday Night Fright, is $6.

30 of the best films, unless disqualified*, will play on the big screen.
Films judged by the Tacoma Filmmaker Executive Committee and Special Guest Judge Anthony Dluzak from Friday Night Frights.
Any type of horror film is accepted.
A trailer? A commerical for a would-be movie or TV show? A short story? A music vid? Animation? Anything.
